Bafang error 25: Torque sensor signal fault

What it means

The torque sensor that measures how hard you pedal is not giving a correct signal, so pedal assist may not work.

Likely causes

• Loose connection
• Sensor software problem
• Faulty torque sensor

Symptoms

• Code 25 shows
• No or weak pedal assist

How to fix it

1. Switch the bike off, wait 10 seconds and switch it on again.
2. Check the connections you can see are pushed fully home.
3. If the code stays, your dealer can test the sensor with the Bafang BESST tool, update software or replace the sensor.
