What it means

Likely causes
- Throttle connector loose or wet
- Damaged throttle or cable
- Throttle held open at switch-on
Symptoms
- E08 shows
- Throttle does not work
- Motor may pull unexpectedly
How to fix it
- Switch off straight away if the motor pulls on its own.
- Check the throttle springs back freely.
- Check the throttle connector.
- Switch the bike off, wait 10 seconds and switch it on again.
- If the code stays, take the bike to your dealer or an e-bike repair shop.
