Specialized Turbo error 4: TCU error 4 – Motor not found

What it means

Code 4 is a communication problem, usually a lost connection to the motor.

Likely causes

• Loose or damaged connector
• Faulty cable

Symptoms

• Red/blue error LEDs on the TCU
• No assist

How to fix it

1. Switch the bike off and on again (reboot).
2. Open the Mission Control app (Diagnose) to read more about the error.
3. If the error stays, contact an Authorised Specialized Retailer.

How urgent is it?

See a retailer if a reboot does not clear it.
