Rad Power Bikes error 12: Motor stall warning

What it means

The throttle is twisted but the motor cannot move, for example holding the bike on a hill with light throttle instead of stopping, or using the throttle while braking.

Likely causes

• Using the throttle to hold the bike on a hill
• Throttle and brakes used together

Symptoms

• Error 12
• Motor does not respond to the throttle

How to fix it

1. Turn the bike off and on again to reset the controller.
2. Do not use the throttle in place of the brakes; come to a full stop instead.

How urgent is it?

Clears with a restart.
