Ride with caution. Assistance may be switched off, but Bosch says you can always keep pedalling without the motor.
What it means
The display has a connection problem with the drive unit (motor). Assistance may stop.
Likely causes
- Loose or damaged cable or plug between display and drive unit
Symptoms
- Code 422 on the display
- No motor assistance
How to fix it
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
- Ask your Bosch eBike dealer to check the plugs and cables. Do not open any component yourself.

Have the eBike checked before your next ride, as Bosch recommends.
