What it means
One or more buttons on the handlebar operating unit are blocked. This is usually caused by dirt.
Likely causes
- Dirt or grit stuck in a remote button
- Button jammed
Symptoms
- Code 418 on the display
- Remote buttons do not respond
How to fix it
- Check whether any button on the handlebar remote is stuck.
- Clean around the buttons with a soft damp cloth.
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
- If the code comes back, contact your Bosch eBike dealer.
