Ride with caution. Assistance may be switched off, but Bosch says you can always keep pedalling without the motor.
What it means
The battery is not inserted correctly.
Likely causes
- Battery not fully clicked in or locked
Symptoms
- Code 650001
- No assistance
How to fix it
- Switch off, then check the battery is correctly seated and locked.
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
- If the code comes back, contact your Bosch eBike dealer.
How urgent is it?
Restart first; see a Bosch eBike dealer if it keeps coming back.
