Aventon says this is usually an obstruction or poor connection between the motor cable and the motor.
Likely causes
- Gritty or loose motor cable connector
- Damaged motor cable

- E23 on the display
- Motor does not run or runs roughly
How to fix it
- Turn the bike off.
- Check the motor cable is free of grit and fully connected.
- If E23 stays, contact Aventon support.
