P08: Speed limit
Maximum assisted speed.
What it does
Sets the speed at which the motor stops helping. The value is always in km/h.
Typical values
- 0–100 km/h (100 = no limit)
Before you change it
- In the UK, EU, Australia and New Zealand an e-bike (pedelec) may only assist up to 25 km/h with a 250 W motor; in the US, Class 1/2 bikes stop assisting at 20 mph and Class 3 at 28 mph. Raising the limit can make the bike illegal on public roads and can void your warranty and insurance.
