P07: Speed magnets (motor)

Number of speed magnets in the motor.

What it does

Used with the wheel size to calculate speed. For a geared hub motor the value is magnets × gear ratio (e.g. 20 × 4.3 = 86).

Typical values

1–100

Before you change it

Leave at the factory value unless you know your motor's figure; a wrong value gives a wrong speed and speed limit.
