TQ error 0451: ERR 0451 DRV HOT – Drive unit over temperature

What it means

The drive unit is outside its allowed operating temperature (too hot, or too cold).

Likely causes

• Long hard climbs
• High air temperature
• Very cold conditions

Symptoms

• ERR 0451 on the display
• Assist stops

How to fix it

1. Stop and switch the drive unit off.
2. Let it cool down (or warm up if very cold).
3. Switch on again.
4. If the error comes back, contact your TQ dealer.

How urgent is it?

Let it cool; dealer if it repeats.
