Rad Power Bikes error 31: Power button / power-on fault

What it means

The bike failed to start correctly, often because the power button was held for more than six seconds or is stuck.

Likely causes

• Holding the power button too long
• Stuck power button on the remote

Symptoms

• Error 31 on the Rad UI remote and display

How to fix it

1. Turn on again and let go of the power button as soon as the display and remote light up.
2. If it keeps happening, switch off and check the button is not stuck; free it gently with a small tool.
3. If it still appears, photograph the remote and display and contact Rad Power Bikes support.

How urgent is it?

Usually fixed by a short button press.
