Ride with caution. Assistance may be switched off, but Bosch says you can always keep pedalling without the motor.
What it means
The system has found a fault with the eBike battery.
Likely causes
- Battery not seated correctly
- Battery fault
Symptoms
- Code 530 on the display
- No assistance
How to fix it
- Switch the eBike off.
- Remove the battery and refit it until it locks.
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
- Do not open the battery. If the code comes back, contact your Bosch eBike dealer.
